University Hall (UniHall) is the residential college owned and operated by The University of Western Australia (UWA). Over 750 UWA students from over 50 countries live, socialise and study at UniHall making it a fun and exciting collegial community. The University Hall Maintenance team manage and undertake maintenance activities to support student living.
About the opportunity
You will provide a high level of physical and other support for the Maintenance Supervisor at University Hall. You will provide support and assist in the activities of contractors as required and agreed with the Supervisor. You will also assist with minor construction and maintenance tasks as directed.
About you
- Year 12 or equivalent competency
- Relevant experience in building maintenance
- Good organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in a range of computing skills including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Demonstrated competence using Star Rez maintenance reporting feedback (preferred)
- Current knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, problem solve and work productively as part of a team
