About the Position
We are seeking a Maintenance Co-Ordinator to join our team based in Oaklands, NSW on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will provide support to the Engineering Manager in the undertaking and oversight of preventative and corrective maintenance and continuous improvement at our site.
Primarily, this role will cover general engineering tasks to ensure the on-going reliability of our on- site equipment and processes. This ranges from stand-alone machinery to fully integrated production cells, many of which are bespoke fully automated systems.
This is a technical role that relies on knowledge and competency within the mechanical and ideally, electrical space.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Engineering Manager with supervising projects.
- Ensuring the site maintenance program is followed and kept up to date.
- Managing the workload of the on-site maintenance staff and contractors.
- Supporting the FAT and SAT of new equipment.
- The testing and commissioning of processes and equipment.
- Supporting production and operations using automated systems.
- Trouble shooting possible issues and supporting improvements required throughout the process.
About You:
- A Trade qualification is essential.
- The successful candidate must have a valid Australian driving license.
- A strong mechanical aptitude.
- A knowledge of electrical control systems highly favourable.
- Ability to manage workloads with minimal direct supervision.
- Honesty, a high level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A Logical and practical approach to work.
- Proactive, self-starter with a willingness to learn.
