We pride ourselves on the professionalism with which we pursue our goals and our strong links into our community.The OpportunityReporting to the CHPP Maintenance Superintendent, we are seeking a skilled CHPP Maintenance Planner to join the CHPP Maintenance Team. The CHPP Maintenance Team is a multi-discipline team that is responsible for the planning, execution of preventive and breakdown maintenance for all CHPP assets.Working closely with the broader CHPP team, the Maintenance Planner plays a pivotal role in maintaining equipment reliability and availability by ensuring that scheduled maintenance tasks and entered job requests are prioritised for scheduling at the right time.Using your background and planning prowess you are enabled to take ownership for assigned equipment and develop work orders to the execution stage. Your input on the direction of the assets maintenance throughout its lifecycle is key to our success.Working a day shift Monday to Friday roster you will be responsible for:

• Prioritisation of preventive maintenance schedules and identified job requests to ensure equipment reliability
• Review job requests to determine suitability for acceptance into planning cycle
• Develop work orders from job requests to ensure work is executable
• Proactively monitor and maintain area budget to improve maintenance expenditure and strategies
• Proactively prepare for extended outages and major shutdowns
• Review and adjust preventive maintenance forecasts

Qualifications and ExperienceThe successful candidate will have:

• Relevant Trade or Engineering background (mechanical)
• Demonstrated experience in CHPP or Processing Plant Operations (or similar)
• Previous planning experience and a well-developed understanding of fixed plant maintenance strategies
• Demonstrated experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems (Pulse or similar)
• Highly developed communication and task management skills
• Ability to focus on long-term solutions, through ongoing innovation, improved maintenance costs and workplace strategies.
