Overview of the role
Applications are now open for a Maintenance Coordinator to join the Asset Management department.
The Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for providing leadership and mentoring to a team of tradespeople; maintain full control over tasks performed in your area(s) to ensure all planned tasks are completed efficiently and cost effectively. In addition, you will be responsible for equipment maintenance plans, condition monitoring and executing the maintenance strategies. This position reports directly to the Refinery & Services Mechanical Superintendent.
This is a leadership role with immense opportunity to further develop your career. This is a residential role, based in Port Pirie, South Australia on a Monday to Friday 5/2 Days only roster. Relocation assistance will be provided to the successful candidate if required.
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Implementation and effective roll out of the Asset health strategy across the department
- Assist with the effective and efficient implementation of roster systems, trades and contractor utilisation
- Assist the Superintendent in facilitating the delivery of standard work processes with team leaders (meetings, planning and costing)
- Ensure a process of continuous improvement is established and functional throughout the different maintenance streams
- Be an active leader in instilling a culture of inclusiveness, fairness and direction within the team
Qualifications, Skills & Experiences:
- Formal qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical) or Boilermaker, Fitter or Electrician Trade Qualification
- 3+ years of on-the-job experience post Trade/Bachelor study
- Sound knowledge and experience in the application of reliability and maintenance management principles and ability to develop preventative maintenance strategies
- Excellent analytical and investigative skills focusing on fixed plant equipment
- Formal leadership qualification or supervisory experience is highly regarded
- Experience in SAP maintenance modules is also highly regarded
