Ashgrove Cheese is a 100% Tasmanian Family-Owned, Award-Winning paddock-to-plate dairy business. We are proudly Tasmanian grown, made, owned and managed.
This is a position based at our Ashgrove Cheese Factory in Elizabeth Town. The role is full-time.

Qualifications & experience
- Electrical trade qualifications and full electrical registration
- Demonstrated experience within a food, dairy, packaging or process-related industry and with PLC controlled equipment and systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work unsupervised
- Instrumentation experience highly desirable
- Computer literacy and record keeping skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and respond with professionalism and a sense of urgency where required
Tasks & responsibilities
- Work to continuously improve electrical systems and equipment
- Demonstrate understanding of WHS requirements
- Undertake preventative maintenance tasks and attend to breakdowns in equipment safely and efficiently
- Servicing, adjustments and troubleshooting of equipment
- Maintenance, programming and adjustment of machinery PLC's
- Undertake testing, diagnostics and fault-finding
- Understanding of LEAN principles and root cause analysis
- Must be fit for the role and pass a pre-employment medical including instant drug and alcohol screening and assessment to lift 20kg.
