We are seeking a motivated and technically minded individual to join our team at our Haywards location in Margate. This position, with regular travel to our Southern Zone in Dover, requires someone who can thrive both independently and collaboratively. As a key member of our Central Electrical team, you will play a crucial role in providing electrical maintenance support to our marine farms across Tasmania.
Responsibilities:
Execute a diverse range of electrical tasks, including preventative maintenance, ad-hoc assignments on vessels, and involvement in significant projects such as the installation and upkeep of underwater lighting.
Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and proficiently repair electrical systems and equipment.
Take charge of electrical installations and the maintenance of electrical systems and machinery.
About You:
- Possess an Electrotechnology qualification (required) and hold a Fully Licensed 'A' Grade Electrical license.
- Demonstrate proactive and independent work traits.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills.
- Capable of reviewing all operational systems to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Active participation in workplace health and safety (WHS) practices.
- Possess knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems.
- Showcase diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
- Maintain physical fitness for the demands of the role.
- Desirable: Forklift license and Coxswain ticket.
