About the role: 

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Mildura based maintenance team.

Reporting to the Packaging Maintenance Manager this position plays a key role in ensuring AVL products are packaged to the highest possible standard. 

• Order and arrange supply of electrical equipment, replacement parts and spare parts.
• General Electrical Maintenance
• Manage machine break-downs
• Installation of equipment
• Install insulated cables and connect switches, outlets, and other fittings; connect circuit breakers, transformers, motors, and other electrical equipment 
• Exposure to PLC technology
• Fault finding & problem solving
• Continuous improvement tasks
• Test & Tag support and maintain compliance with Australian Standards and recommend upgrades as appropriate; and
• Support and maintain compliance with all WHS practices.
• Provide afterhours on call support (roster system)

We are looking for: 

A suitably qualified with an A Grade Electrical licence, be a team player with a positive, self-motivated, and proactive attitude.  

You will possess strong communication skills - both written and verbal, with a high attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as and when required.  EWP and Forklift licence's are desirable.
