Maintenance Electrician (Breakdowns & Maintenance)

We are seeking well-experienced Maintenance Electricians to join our client's team for ASAP start within the industrial sector for casual full-time work.

This role primarily involves handling breakdowns and maintenance tasks across various locations in Sydney Metro, with a focus on Western Sydney.
Temporary to permanent opportunities are available for the right candidates.

What We Need From You:

• Electrical License: Candidates must hold a valid electrical license.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery commonly found in industrial environments.
• Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, conducting preventive maintenance, and installing electrical components.
• Safety Compliance: Adherence to safety regulations and protocols, including knowledge of relevant codes and standards such as AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules.
• Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and on-call rotations as required for emergency repairs and maintenance.
• Communication: Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members, supervisors, and external contractors.
• Australian Residency or Valid Work Visa: Candidates must either be Australian citizens, permanent residents, or hold a valid work visa with full working rights in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to breakdowns and perform maintenance tasks
• Conduct preventive maintenance and installations of:
  
  • Automated machines
  • VSD Drives
  • Single & Three phase motors
  • Conveyors
  • Robotics
  • Allen Bradley & Siemens PLC operating systems
  • Electrical/Mechanical automated machine installations
• Ability to work versatile hours, typically Monday to Friday from 6 am to 3 pm will be standard.
• Shift coverage, weekends, and nightshifts may be required (great opportunity for OT).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the industrial sector is prioritised.
• Minimum 2-5 years till date of electrical experience in breakdowns and maintenance required.
• Experience in food grade manufacturing (FMCG) is a plus.
