AddressAn opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Electrician (day shift) to join our Paper/Packaging plant at Revesby.
The objective of the role is to ensure all site maintenance and corrective tasks are carried out to ensure reliability of plant and equipment. You will be required to support and undertake maintenance and engineering projects to continuously improve the both the capability and reliability of the business. The plant has an emphasis on PLCs and VSDs.
The Maintenance Electrician role includes but is not limited to:
- Understanding, supporting, promoting, and complying with Production Management
- Preventative and scheduled plant maintenance/repair of Conveyers, transmitters, PLC, VSDs and more.
- Using CMMS /SAP and/or other maintenance/reliability tools and practices.
- Provide technical support to the Maintenance and Production teams.
- Assist with ordering components and liaise with external suppliers and equipment manufacturers as necessary with appropriate approval.
- Available to work across Day, Afternoon and Night shifts for emergency breakdowns or shift filling.
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated history of an exceptional approach and performance to Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and initiatives.
- Licenced NSW qualified electrician.
- Forklift ticket preferred.
- Experience in Paper/Packaging or a highly automated plant industry highly desirable.
- Knowledgeable on a variety of PLCs and form factors.
- Understanding of basic to intermediate mechanical system principles will also be highly considered.
