Responsibilities:
- Fault Diagnosis and Repairs: Conduct diagnostic activities and repairs to ensure continuous operation of machinery.
- Scheduled Maintenance: Plan and perform scheduled maintenance checks on machinery to maximize uptime.
- Standard Operating Procedures: Assist in the development and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Machine Maintenance: Undertake maintenance tasks, including small metal fabrication and welding (Tig, Mig, Arc, and Oxy Acetylene). Welding ticket will be highly regarded but not essential
- Overhaul and Maintenance: Overhaul and maintain hydraulic equipment, might have to dismantle and rebuild machinery for efficiency.
- Supervision: Supervise and conduct safety audits on machinery.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Mechanical Fitter qualification/Certificate III in Engineering. Electrical works trade qualification highly regarded.
- Licenses: Forklift license and EWP license will be highly regarded
- Experience: Strong background in maintenance, servicing, and repairs in an industrial environment. Experience in fault finding and repairing a range of machinery.
