Responsibilities of The Role:
- Provide maintenance support and technical expertise for specific equipment
- Troubleshoot, resolve technical problems and improve reliability/performance in their functional area
- Support equipment setup and will occasionally be required to work in other areas of the plant
- Review common and major breakdowns and participate in root cause analysis.
- Utilize and improve trouble shooting guides to diagnose and rectify common operator and technical issues.
- 100% of work must be recorded on work orders in the computerized maintenance system (MEX)
- Regularly review planned maintenance tasks to critically evaluate their quality and ability to prevent failures
- Develop and support proposals to increase machine capacity and throughput
- Participate in continuous improvement programs for designated equipment
Required Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years in field experience leading a team of tradespeople
- Trade Qualification in Industrial Electrical or Mechanical
- Truly committed to optimize the production process and identify opportunities for improvement
- Excellent understanding of safety systems such as LOTO, work permits, hazardous work.
- Great team player
- CMMS experience
- Proven experience in the use of Root Cause Analysis tools to find and resolve issues
