Maintenance Fitter | Food Industry | Braeside

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Fitter on afternoon shifts for a food manufacturer in Braeside.The position will involve performing preventative and reactive / breakdown maintenance, providing general technical support to the manufacturing site, as well as some machinery installation / relocation.Work Hours:2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Monday to Thursday12.30 PM - 6.30 PM FridayTo be successful in this position, you will be expected to demonstrate:

• Trade qualifications in an Engineering stream or similar
• Previous experience in performing project work, as well as planned and reactive maintenance in a Manufacturing/Industrial environment
• Basic computer skills (MS Outlook, Web browser etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings and basic welding skills
• Strong commitment towards WHS, excellent troubleshooting skills with analytical thinking and a logical decision-making ability
