Maintenance Fitter

The role We are seeking a Maintenance Fitter for one of our global clients. This is a permanent full-time position located in Springvale, Monday – Friday, 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of operational equipment. Your responsibilities will include maintenance, installation, servicing, and repair of machinery in alignment with company policies, procedures, and the company's responsible care program. Key Responsibilities: Perform repairs and maintenance on all plant machinery following documented procedures.

Maintain and manage stock levels of spare parts required for maintenance tasks. Report any unsafe machinery or work practices to the Maintenance Manager. Take corrective action to address unsafe practices or conditions and anticipate/prevent hazards.

Adhere to and promote company safety and environmental regulations. The Candidate  Trade qualification with experience in the chemical/process industry. Previous experience working safely in hazardous and dangerous goods environments preferred.
