An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced and self-motivated Maintenance Fitter to work within our asphalt production plant in Somerton. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative Production team to ensure that we are delivering the best from our assets and maintaining them for the future.
ABOUT YOU
- Trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting, Heavy Plant, Boilermaker or similar.
- Hands on approach to diagnosing faults and proactively manage breakdowns of equipment or process failures.
- Extensive exposure to fast passed manufacturing plants, exposure within Asphalt manufacturing would be highly regarded.
- Assist in all areas of preventative Maintenance planning and strategy techniques.
- Previous experience working autonomously or with limited supervision in plant maintenance planning function.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and systems with the ability to identify hazards to ensure a safe working environment for our employees and visitors.
