Description
As a Mechanical Trades-person, your role is vital by providing maintenance and breakdown support to the production teams. You will achieve this as part of a team, by resolving breakdown issues assigned and through applying continuous improvements throughout the plant.
Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible to maintaining plant and equipment and reliability for Operations.
- Preventative maintenance
- Breakdown maintenance and repair
- Fault finding on Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Mechanical operating systems and machinery
- Participate in regular shutdown tasks
Profile
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold relevant mechanical trade qualification
- Heavy industrial manufacturing plant exp highly desirable
- Proactive and safety first approach
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Must be willing and able to pass a pre-employment medical
