Maintenance Handyperson

Maryborough District Health Service is seeking a Handyperson to join the Building & Services Team in a permanent position. The Maintenance Handyperson role is responsible for undertaking repairs and maintenance of buildings, plant and equipment across the Maryborough, Dunolly & Avoca campuses. Our ideal candidate is physically able, has a sound and proven work ethic, a strong pride in presentation and the ability to work autonomously.
We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

- Test & Tag Licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
- General Maintenance experience
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports as needed

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
- Test & Tag Licence (or willing to obtain same).
Desirable
- Trade qualifications preferred but not essential
- General maintenance experience.
- Ability to think laterally to problem solve
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
