Maintenance & Installation Technician – Mechanical Fitter

Premium Fuel Solutions is seeking an experienced maintenance fitter with extensive pumping of fluids and pipework knowledge.

The position includes:

• Maintaining customer fuel installations and pumping equipment (dispensers, nozzles, hoses, pumps, pipework, storage tanks).
• Performing breakdown repairs to fuel pumping equipment.
• Undertaking low voltage repairs on electronic boards in fuel dispensers.
• Repairing hydraulic faults in fuel pumping and associated equipment.
• Installing pipework from storage locations to pumping equipment.
• Undertake repairs on pumping equipment from storage tanks.
• Providing the necessary calibrations to fuel pumping equipment.
• Providing verification paperwork for fuel dispensers.
• Undertaking workshop activities which support the fuel pumping tasks including welding, spray painting, general fabrication etc.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

To be considered for this position candidates will need to have:

• Trade qualifications (Cert III in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent).
• Extensive experience with pipework and pumping equipment.
• Restricted Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain) – Highly regarded.
• NMI (National Measurement Institute) accreditation (or ability to obtain) – Highly regarded.
• Work Place Group Clearance (WPCG) Clearance Issuer (or ability to obtain).
• Inspect & Test Fire Extinguishers Training (CPPFES2020) (or ability to obtain).
• Experience diagnosing and repair Gilbarco, Compac and TTFuel Dispenser’s – Highly regarded.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication skills with a courteous and professional attitude.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work without supervisor
• High personal standards in relation to quality of work
• Hold a current licence with clean driving record.
• Knowledge of Perth metro and regional WA required.
