About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and reliable Installation Technician (Ductwork) to join their growing WA project team. A successful candidate must have a positive ‘’can-do’’ attitude, solutions driven, and has exceptional work ethic.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be instrumental in the installation of various air conditioning systems in the commercial area. Your duties will involve installation and commissioning of various HVAC plant and equipment across various commercial sites. You will work closely with their technicians and other team members to ensure that ductwork is installed correctly and meets safety and quality standards.
You are expected to deliver consistent, accurate, high quality customer service This is a hands-on role requiring travel to sites in Perth and the surrounding areas.

- Carry out as needed all ventilation/AC works to meet the clients requirements.
- Install ductwork according to blueprints, specifications, and building codes
- Assemble and join duct sections using various methods (e.g., welding, brazing, soldering, screws)
- Assist in commissioning and balancing of systems
- Troubleshoot and repair duct systems as needed
- Assist with quotations by conducting site inspections and gather information for our engineer on current layout (pre project) when relevant.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safe work practices
- Conduct routine site inspections to ensure all organisational Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Standards are met/exceeded.
- Build strong client relationships based on trust and respect.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in a high performing, multi-disciplinary team
- Relevant trade qualification, e.g.: Refrigeration Mechanic, Sheet Metal, Electrician
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, technical manuals, mechanical drawings, standards and plant operating instructions and a demonstrated knowledge of Essential Safety Measures and associated standards and regulations.
- A valid driving licence is a must
- Relevant trade tickets to allow for day to day site working.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Time management skills, with the ability to adhere to workflows
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
