About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and reliable HVAC Installation Technicianwho offers a positive ‘’can-do’’ attitude, solutions driven, and has exceptional work ethic.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate must have a diverse experience with refrigeration & air conditioning systems – from commissioning to maintenance to replacement packages. The job will require you to diagnose, effectively execute mechanical services installations; install and modify existing and/or new ventilation system, and build relationships with a variety of customers within the market.
You are expected to deliver consistent, accurate, high quality customer service This is a hands-on role requiring travel to sites in Perth and the surrounding areas.

Duties:- Carry out as needed all ventilation/AC works to meet the clients requirements.
- Conduct routine site inspections to ensure all organisational Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Standards are met/exceeded.
- Stay informed on supply chain issues and arrange materials and Labour as needed
- Assist with quotations by conducting site inspections and gather information for engineer on current layout (pre project) when relevant.
- Communicate effectively with clients on the condition of their mechanical plant and provide updates on installation progress and milestones.
- Apply and support Occupational Health, Safety and Quality initiatives across all work activities.
Skills and Experience:- Extensive experience in HVAC systems in a high performing, multi-disciplinary team
- Certificate 3 Refrigeration or relevant trade qualification, e.g. Refrigeration Mechanic, Sheet Metal, Electrician
- Effective plans and schematic drawing interpretation
- Demonstrated knowledge & commitment to Essential Safety Measures and associated standards and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Great interpersonal and leadership skills
- A valid driving licence is a condition of employment
- Relevant trade tickets to allow for day-to-day site working.
- Ability to think on your feet & resolve problems
- Time management skills, with the ability to adhere to workflows
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
