About the Role
The Maintenance Manager focus is providing structured support to the maintenance team by being the first point of contact for production, administration and task allocation. You will be involved in maintaining the momentum of a highly engaged and motivated team, create the systems and framework that the department will need to deliver rapid, significant results and impact to the business. Resulting in reduced downtime, improved OEE and completion of production maintenance plans or projects.
- respond to work requests, delegating tasks as needed to optimise efficiency.
- identify the need for new preventive maintenance strategies and additional spare parts.
- accurate entry of data and work history via MEX software system.
- effective communication channels to keep key stakeholders informed of maintenance schedules.
- managing KPIs related to production rates, compliance, customer complaints
- compliance with all legislative obligations including site safety requirements.
- providing leadership and support to the site maintenance team.
- support the operations team to ensure high quality production completed on time.
- administer toolbox talks when required.
About You:
- a trades background with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- perseverance in executing routine tasks without compromising quality.
- professional and timely interactions with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
