Your new company is leading Australian Resources and Farming company who produce seafood within a famr located South of Townsville.
Your new role
This role will see you responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all equipment, machinery, and infrastructure on the farm and the processing plant. You will also supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance staff, ensuring they follow safety standards and procedures. You will also coordinate with external contractors and suppliers, manage maintenance budgets and schedules, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
- A trade qualification or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar maintenance leadership role, preferably in the aquaculture or resources and mining industry
- Strong technical knowledge and skills in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of equipment and systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- A proactive, problem-solving, and results-oriented attitude
- A commitment to environmental and social responsibility
