Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and cultivate productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate all vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor repair costs to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to manufacturer guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Stay abreast of changing vehicle technology and service trends to continually review and optimise our repairer network.
• Maintain accurate fleet data on our fleet management information system.
• Oversee supplier invoices and ensure timely payments, conducting regular expenditure reconciliation for delegation approval.
• Develop, implement, and monitor strategies and programs to enhance fleet productivity and efficiency.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and provide insightful advice on Fleet Maintenance as required.

Role Requirements:

• Proven experience in vehicle and/or plant & equipment fleet management, including parts and supplier management.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of equipment design and operation (mechanical, automotive, or plant trade qualification highly regarded).
• Demonstrated expertise in contract and supplier management within the realm of vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Exceptional time management, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage a dynamic workload.
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
