AddressKnights Laundry is a privately owned commercial laundry in Toowoomba servicing accommodation and hospitality industries across south-east Queensland. Knights is a growing business equipped with plant and machinery processing up to 200 tonnes of product a week.
Knights is currently seeking a Handy man / Willing learner and team player. Be a solution-based thinker comfortable sharing innovative and out of the box thinking.
No idea is a bad idea, if you’ve had issue in previous businesses or roles with a lack of listening to your concepts, knights is the place for you.
Your opportunities will be to drive the below outcomes:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Be part of breakdown/unplanned maintenance, fault finding and trouble shooting.
- Perform ongoing equipment health checks to reduce machine downtime
Other requirements of this role include:
- You work well as part of a team and individually
- Have a willingness to learn
- Current drivers’ license
- Forklift ticket desirable
- Previous experience in manufacturing / mechanical environments
- Small engine mechanic ideal
