A fantastic opportunity at our Forest Home Hatchery for an experienced Maintenance Officer to join the team!
About the role
Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you will play an integral part in supporting the Hatchery through providing high quality routine and preventative maintenance. You will:
- Use your experience and knowledge to ensure all maintenance is completed to the highest possible standard and in a timely manner.
- Be proactive with preventative maintenance to minimise the impact of breakdowns and disruption to the business.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, identifying and reporting hazards where required.
- Undertake workshop housekeeping as and when required.
This opportunity is a full-time position, operating on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster.
About you
- Relevant Trade Certificate and experience in maintenance, with sound knowledge in the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Effective verbal and written communication with confidence in your problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Strong ability to adapt and respond to direction and feedback, comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment and focus on safety and wellbeing.
