Job description

Our client, based in the southeast suburbs of Melbourne is a small manufacturing company of consumer durables.

As a part of a closely knit team, you will join as an Office Administrator.

Please note this is a part-time role - 3 days a week.

Your role covers a wide range of finance and administrative tasks including:

  • Processing customer orders up to the point of invoicing
  • Liaising with freight forwarders
  • Processing purchase orders
  • Generating reports via MYOB
  • Accounts Payable/Accounts receivable
  • Payroll for a small number of staff - less than 10
  • BAS/GST payments
  • Answering the phone

As the ideal candidate, you must

  • Be able to work independently
  • Be detail oriented
  • Possess decision making abilities
  • Be excellent in MYOB
  • Have a pleasant easy going personality with good communication skills
