- Carry out all maintenance related works, together with new designated works, as they arise, under the functional direction of the Facilities and Maintenance Manager and to the satisfaction of the Head of Campus.
- Ensure that all maintenance work and new work is carried out in a timely and professional manner
- Perform general maintenance duties such as repairs to doors, locks, windows including welding, carpentry, painting and tool and machinery maintenance
- Assist the Facilities and Maintenance Manager with the identification and forward planning of maintenance, new works and school improvements
- Ensure safety protocols are adhered to, conduct audits, report hazards/incidents, and identify workplace hazards
- Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.
- A proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated time management skills, organisational skills and problem-solving skills.
- Previous Experience working with Timber or Metal
- Previous experience in a trade or maintenance background
- Elevated Work Platform and High-Risk Work Licence
- A Trade Qualification in a related discipline
