About the Opportunity
As the Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring planned and corrective maintenance and repairs for our aged care home. You will prioritise and plan for projects, equipment replacement and provide input into budget preparations.
Important to the role is your ability to foster strong relationship with residents, contractors and suppliers. As well as a proactive approach to take ownership and leadership in the day-to-day operations of the role.
About You
To be successful, you'll need:
- General maintenance experience e.g., painting, plastering, equipment repairs, minor plumbing & electrical issues and grounds maintenance
- Current valid drivers' licence
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and team members
- Proficient documentation and computer skills
A trade qualification and previous experience in aged care or related industry are desirable but not essential.
