An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Maintenance Officer to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate based in Clermont, Dysart, Middlemount or Moranbah. Reporting to the Program Leader Maintenance, this position is responsible for providing support in the effective processing and maintenance of Council’s facilities, managing internal and external service providers, and providing condition reports and maintenance plans for built structures.
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in property maintenance, administration and customer service.
- High levels of written and verbal communication skills are required.
- A Certificate Ill in Business Administration, and/or previous Local Government experience or experience in an Administrative Support role would be highly regarded.
- Qualifications in the building trade or experience in property or facilities maintenance.
- Qualifications in project management or another relevant area will be highly regarded.
- Salary $83,320.05 – $88,230.92 per annum + allowances
- Nominally 36.25 hours per week
- RDO’s in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
- Up to 13.5% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
