The role
Are you a self-motivated, disciplined, people manager who wants to step into a newly created role and have the opportunity collaborate across the business to further build our “one team” culture and drive improvements and efficiencies in our Maintenance Department? Then this role is for you.
The Maintenance Operations Manager will work to optimise resources across all sites and projects and foster a collaborative working environment while promoting safety and continuous improvement.
Primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Focusing on performance, reliability, planning and cost effectiveness of resources, with an emphasis on building a strong planning culture.
- Implementing processes, procedures, and initiatives to enable a culture of continuous improvement.
- Facilitating the implementation and adoption of new technologies that will transform the way we do business.
- Identify and implement safety improvements and ensure learning across all areas of maintenance.
To be successful you will need:
- To be Trade or Engineering qualified.
- Experience managing teams and building positive culture.
- A high degree of commercial acumen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Initiative, be able work independently and handle competing demands.
- To be skilled in building and maintaining collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will need to travel to our project sites, which can be remote, to engage with our project teams and deliver on our clients expectations.
