Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of all data in SAP and effectively utilizing the data to achieve high efficiency and effectiveness for the entire maintenance department.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Forecasting and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the effective and efficient use of resources
- Developing annual overhaul schedules for mill equipment, managing the request for spare parts, and forecasting maintenance work
- Prioritizing maintenance schedules to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
- Tracking and monitoring the cost of maintenance work and attainment rates to meet budget forecasts
- Communication with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration across departments
- Maintaining up-to-date plant data, storing and updating data for statutory obligations
- Ensuring the design of new equipment, systems, and modifications to existing plants comply with relevant standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Experience in maintenance planning or a related field
- Proficiency in using SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of statutory obligations related to plant maintenance
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Relevant technical qualifications and certifications are an advantage
