About the role
We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to assist us in Electricity Maintenance Services.
The role is responsible for providing technical expertise in relation to maintenance and asset replacement requirements; as well as planning, implementation and monitoring of work programs to improve system reliability and capability.
You will be monitoring and updating works management systems as well as ensuring all maintenance, asset replacement and relevant work meets the necessary quality levels, timeframes and costs.
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Review and undertake network maintenance, based on system notifications and monitor and update the works management system
- Manage and deliver various asset maintenance programs, whilst applying the appropriate risk management processes
- Ensure all maintenance, asset replacement and relevant work meets the necessary quality levels, timeframes and costs
- Manage inventory to meet planning requirements
- Implement the necessary audit programs and cost controls
- Fault and Emergency response management
- Budgeting, forecasting and managing operational asset registers
- Regulatory and company compliance
- Develop and strengthen relationship with Asset Management to ensure that customer expectations are met whilst matching delivery capabilities
About you
- Experience in all aspects of maintenance planning, programming, progress tracking and status reporting
- Clear understanding of resource planning
- Understanding of the acts and regulations applying to Electrical Networks assets.
- Broad knowledge of High Voltage and or Low Voltage overhead and underground construction and maintenance
- Experience in SAP work order management – highly desirable
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Relevant trade/tertiary qualification or substantial experience working in a relevant maintenance discipline
- Valid Drivers Licence
