Your Role:
As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clients technical facilities. You will be responsible for strategising and executing maintenance plans for critical assets, optimizing equipment performance, and minimizing downtime to maximize productivity. Additionally, you will oversee the management of internal trade teams and external contractors to ensure efficient execution of maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules for technical equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritise maintenance activities and minimise disruption to production.
- Coordinate and manage internal trade teams to execute maintenance tasks according to schedule and quality standards.
- Evaluate and manage the performance of external contractors for specialised maintenance projects, equipment or services, schedule and oversee their performance.
- Utilise advanced maintenance planning software (SAP) to track asset performance and predict maintenance needs.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Analyse maintenance data to identify trends, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process optimisation and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in the Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Maintenance Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in asset management and maintenance planning within the pharmaceutical or oil and gas industry high preferable.
- Experience managing large internal trade teams and coordinating external contractors.
- Proficiency in maintenance planning software (e.g., SAP) and data analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
