An excellent opportunity exists for a suitably experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Maintenance Planner.
Reporting:
This position reports to the AAPM Workshop Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
- Planning and scheduling work for day to day operations
- Quoting, Estimating and Raising of work packs in the company’s inventory system
- Liaise with Customers in regards to work requirements
- Assisting the Workshop Manager in maintaining scheduled work to the business operations
- Liaise with the quality department on compliance issues
- Developing workshop procedures/forms etc
- Providing business continuity and aviation compliance
- Developing status reports as required by management
- Working efficiently in a team environment
- Focus on continuous improvement
- Marketing of the business to potential customers
- Other appropriate duties as required
Key Selection Criteria:
- Full time onsite requirement
- An engineering background, preferably in the aviation industry gained from practical experience such as AME/LAME/Cert IV
- Demonstrated experience in the planning role
- Experience with prioritising and scheduling of work
- Excellent communication, analytical and report writing skills
- Well-developed IT skills (particularly MS Word, Excel, Project, Powerpoint)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines
- A High attention to detail
- Business leadership skills (desirable)
- Ability to work in Australia (full working rights)
