Your opportunity to join our team
As the Maintenance & Reliability Planner you will be responsible for the planning and master scheduling of all maintenance activities within Inghams Further Processing Facility in Thomastown.
Your role will be responsible for the development and implementation of the preventative maintenance plan for the lifespan of equipment and to ensure it is maintained in the most cost effective and productive way possible and that planning windows are made available for priority works to take place.
Responsibilities include
- Driving proactive maintenance strategies to minimise equipment downtime and enhance overall reliability.
- Ensure maintenance work is planned, organized, and executed in the most effective and cost-effective manner.
- Planning corrective and preventative maintenance activities across the site using CMMS-Maximo, as well as recording and maintaining equipment history
- Coordinating planned repair programs on critical equipment and assets.
- Planning and scheduling work, purchasing parts, including organizing equipment services with contractors.
- Tracking plant maintenance schedules and work order for all assets
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders in maintaining a site safe, healthy, and risk-free working environment.
You will bring to this role
- Trade qualification, Engineering degree
- Technical understanding of different maintenance strategies and asset health principles
- Knowledge on Planning & scheduling and work management processes
- Flexible and adaptable. Able to respond positively to change and high-pressure situations.
- Awareness of Cost Management and Forecasting processes
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Good Leadership skills and ability to work with contractors/service providers.
- Previously worked with SAP or any other CMMS system is an added advantage.
