About the role
The Cape Class Maintenance Planner supports the development of accurate work packages in line with the timeframes established for Cape Class Maintenance Periods and Work failure rectification.
Key objectives & responsibilities include:
Maintain Maintenance Period Main Work Lists for assigned maintenance periods.
Development of accurate and timely maintenance work packages for assigned Cape Class maintenance periods.
Identify material requirements for maintenance work packages.
Development of accurate and timely work failure resolution work packages.
Identify material requirements for work failure resolution.
Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:
- Formal qualification in Maintenance management, Engineering, or trade qualification
- 5 Years experience in maintenance planning, Defence experience desirable.
- Knowledge of Maintenance management, planning and scheduling.
- Knowledge of asset management standards, systems, and processes.
- Knowledge of configuration management systems and processes.
- Experience with CMMS systems.
- Effective communications skills; and
- Competency in Microsoft office and Scheduling tools, preferably Primavera P6.
- Hold a Construction safety induction (white card)
