AIC Mines owns the Eloise Copper Mine located near Cloncurry, QLD. Eloise is an underground mine with conventional crush-grind-float processing to produce a high-quality copper-gold concentrate. AIC Mines has recently commenced an expansion of the Eloise operation following the acquisition of the nearby Jericho resource. The Company also owns a portfolio copper and gold exploration projects located across Australia.

About the position:
AIC Copper is currently restructuring its maintenance team to improve asset performance. We are looking for an experienced and highly organised planner who has great attention to detail and is an effective communicator across all levels and teams. This newly created position will play a key part in driving improvements in asset performance, including health and safety, production and cost management.
The core responsibilities of this position include:
- Maintenance planning strategies (Sandvik U/G Trucks, Drills, R2900 Loaders, Ancillary Fleet)
- Maintain rolling 2 week plan (updated weekly)
- Ensure all parts for planned work are landed
- Asset Inspections
- Condition monitoring – assist with failure analysis
- Coordination with warehouse staff
- Parts procurement
- Parts inventory
- Coordination with Maintenance Supervisors
- Use of workorders
- Recording of downtime in Pronto
- Allocation of tasks to assets
- Building individual component history
This position is offered on a 8/6 roster from Townsville. Accommodation is provided onsite at the Eloise Copper Mine 65km from Cloncurry. Local candidates from Cloncurry or surrounding communities can commute via bus from Cloncurry and are encouraged to apply.
About You:
- Trade background beneficial
- Minimum 2+ years working in a similar position and mining maintenance experience
- Strong planning and organisation skills
- High level of computer literacy of MS Office Suite and related technical programs
- Manual QLD driver’s license
- Hold a high regard for safety by following safe working practices
- Physically fit and able to pass medical assessment and police clearance
