We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our Planning Team. As a key member of the Planning team, you will be accountable for planning and delivery of weekly maintenance work schedules, planning and scheduling small outages, maintaining master data to provide clarity of work, reporting and governance over structural and coatings remediation.
You will be responsible for creating safe, quality maintenance plans in collaboration with the maintenance teams in alignment with the work management processes. Workflow management will be a focus of this role to monitor completion of work activities, evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance plans and to ensure that plans are delivered to optimise terminal reliability.
You will be:
- Flexible and adaptable with a positive and proactive outlook
- Highly organised and able to prioritise work and plan your week accordingly.
- A problem solver, with excellent communication, planning, and scheduling skills.
- Committed to continuous improvement processes and change management.
- Able to achieve outcomes through coaching and mentoring of the maintenance teams.
- A motivated team member who wants to achieve the desired outcomes of the business.
You will have:
- Relevant qualifications and/or trade qualifications e.g., boiler making, blaster and painter (desirable).
- Demonstrated computer skills and systems experience.
- Knowledge and experience in maintenance planning for weekly, outage and major maintenance shutdowns.
- An understanding of protective coatings and structural maintenance
- Interpersonal skills, including experience in negotiating and communicating with various stakeholders.
- An understanding of work management principles would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated project management skills (desirable).
- Experience working autonomously in a high-pressured environment.
- Knowledge of and experience in the application of modern maintenance methods.
- Experience in a continuous processing and large-scale materials handling environment (essential).
