We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Maintenance Planner that will support the delivery of maintenance activities at Port Kembla Terminal.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing detailed asset maintenance plans, with consideration to operational and compliance concerns. These accountabilities will support the lifecycle asset management of Port Kembla Energy Terminal (PKET).
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out short-term and long-term planning activities under the direction of the Asset Maintenance Manager.
- Develop maintenance plans and schedules, coordinate and monitor the planned and unplanned maintenance of all plant equipment.
- Schedule and coordinate all shutdowns.
- Monitor staff and contractor maintenance performance.
- Arrange asset condition monitoring.
- Populate, maintain, and operate the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Coordinate and optimise maintenance plans to meet plant operational requirements ensuring asset integrity.
- Manage parts and stock levels.
- Management of all technical and maintenance documents
- Monitor and manage warranties.
- Manage flows of information between team members at site, vendors and third parties and other operational centres in Wollongong, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney
About you
You will have:
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years' experience in a team responsible for maintenance in safety critical asset environment.
- A relevant trade-based qualification and/or demonstrated industry experience is expected.
- Experience liaising between multiple locations and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A sound working knowledge of Maintenance planning software system.
- Knowledge of the oil and gas industry, or similar Major Hazard Facilities, would be highly regarded.
- Current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or eligible to apply and maintain one.
- Maintenance focused short course certificates or professional development verifications are desirable.
