Duties Required In This Role
- Implementing industry-leading techniques to ensure equipment is maintained to high safety, productivity, and reliability standards.
- Scheduling maintenance work according to industry-leading processes.
- Identifying risks and opportunities within major maintenance schedules, including managing synergies and conflicts between activities.
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress of maintenance work execution.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure maintenance work aligns with business priorities.
- Integrating maintenance schedules with external and internal stakeholders.
- Working with Superintendents to optimize the allocation of internal and external resources.
- Providing scheduling and planning support, influence, and coaching to ensure effective weekly targets are agreed upon, scheduled, and communicated.
- Ensuring relevant spares and inventory levels are identified and managing lead times on parts with stakeholders.
- Prioritizing work and managing time effectively.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with internal customers and key suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, WH&S standards, and site policies and procedures.
- 5 + years background working on heavy mobile maintenance in a mining environment, coal mining is ideal
- Have a trade or tertiary qualification in an Engineering discipline
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Project
- Experience with mobile plant maintenance and familiarity with Maintenance Management Systems
- Strong communication skills, excellent organisational and time management skills
- An overriding commitment to health, safety and environmental responsibilities
- Actively investigate enhancements to procedures and processes that achieve improvements in performance, safety, job satisfaction and productivity
