Professional Cost Consultants Australia is a bespoke project services company based in both Perth and Brisbane, as well as internationally. We provide project services to companies operating in the mining, minerals, and infrastructure sectors.
THE ROLE
This position will initially be based at Perth offices for familiarisation with the team and systems, before transitioning into a site based 2/1 roster. You will be responsible for both short- and long-term maintenance planning and scheduling of site fixed plant equipment and infrastructure.
- Carrying out maintenance planning and scheduling processes for the site mechanical, electrical, and operational teams.
- Schedule resources, labour, materials, and plant access for preventative, planned and emergency maintenance works.
- Monitor and Integrate cost reports into maintenance reports.
- Work closely with the discipline engineers to improve implementation duration of shutdowns, and wherever possible contribute to a safe worksite.
- Coordinate with the procurement and supply departments for the timely arrival of all inventory, direct order materials and equipment for maintenance activities.
- Contribute to the review, development and implementation of systems, processes and procedures that identify improvements to the current maintenance planning procedures.
- Provide input to stores to enable efficient spare part procurement and control.
- Minimum 5 + years in Shutdown/maintenance planning.
- Proven ability to plan multiple activities for remote areas with knowledge of logistical issues.
