Munster Services Group is a well-established organization providing Engineering, Construction & Maintenance services to a number of industries including Water & Wastewater Treatment.
Due to our steady growth and a strong pipeline of work we are currently seeking experienced Maintenance/Projects Electricians to join our growing team. You will report directly to our Electrical Project Manager.
You will be responsible for:
- Performing maintenance breakdown and preventative maintenance.
- Fault finding and troubleshooting issues.
- Managing repairs, servicing, and maintenance of key water/wastewater infrastructure asset’s.
- Reviewing, creating, and modifying preventative maintenance plans for optimum reliability.
- Supporting Our Mechanical Team from time to time.
- Supporting improvement projects that aim to reduce unplanned stoppages.
- Maintaining and improving OH&S and overall operational standards in the workplace.
About You:
You are a competent and committed site-based Electrician comfortable working within a team. You enjoy taking responsibility on-site maintenance activities allocated to you. You will also require to assist our Mechanical Team with our current Projects from time to time. You get great results via your strong work ethic and communication skills
- Current QLD EFM License.
- Current QLD Driver’s License.
- Ideally you would have current confined space, working at heights, EWP and construction white cards.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in industrial electrical installations and maintenance.
- Experience within the Water Utilities sector will be highly regarded but not essential.
- Proven experience in automation and control: VSD, Soft Starters, Instrumentation.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work autonomously.
- Basic Mechanical Aptitude to work within Mechanical Team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in relation to safety including risk management.
- Excellent troubleshooting & problem-solving skills.
- Flexible approach and adaptability to change with high attention to detail.
- Good time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness and ability to learn new processes.
