Senior Rail Systems Assurance Engineer

As they continue to expand operations across major projects, we are seeking a talented Senior Rail Systems Assurance Engineer or Manager to play a pivotal role in projects.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, implementation, and management of Rail Systems Assurance processes.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of safety and assurance plans for rail projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integration of safety and assurance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on safety assurance methodologies and best practices.
• Review and approve technical documentation related to Systems Assurance and safety.
• Mentor and support junior engineers in understanding and implementing assurance processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in Rail Systems Assurance Engineering within the rail or other highly regulated industry.
• In-depth knowledge of safety assurance standards (such as CENELEC, EN 50126/8/9) and relevant regulations.
• Proven track record in leading and managing assurance processes for rail projects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Certification in relevant areas of Rail Systems Assurance will be an advantage.
