About The Role
This is a broad ranging and varied role in which you will efficiently manage and provide leadership to the work groups of Maintenance Execution teams at Maules Creek Mine. You will ensure performance targets are achieved in a synchronised, cost-effective, timely and safe manner.
What You’ll Do
Key aspects of this position include:
- Managing all aspects of ultra-class excavator servicing and component change outs
- Ensuring activities prioritise safety, incidents and accidents are reported and manage risk; effective hazard identification, proactive work to reduce need for potential high-risk tasks
- Ensure shut down work is planned effectively, assist with continuous improvement of the planning and scheduling process
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing your team driving a positive culture
- Manage statutory compliance and costs associated with shut downs and planned maintenance events
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary mechanical qualifications with Hitachi excavator experience
- Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills & the ability to influence others
- Strong commitment to safety and a continuous improvement culture
- A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
