About the role
Regis Sandgate is part of a delightful community oasis, set inside the Campus, we have 3 homes - Griffith (dementia specific home), Musgrave and Lucinda. The campus is accessible by public transport and is in close proximity to shops. Our Campus offers free car parking and an onsite cafe.
Reporting directly to our General Manager of Support Services at the Regis Sandgate, you’ll be responsible for a range of both preventative and corrective maintenance duties right across the grounds including equipment and plant monitoring, grounds upkeep, and accurate, timely reporting. Skills including painting, plastering and equipment repairs would be preferable. You will also support Maintenance Officers of the Residential facilities at Tiwi as required.
This is a full time role working Monday to Friday.
How you’ll make an impact
A day in the life as our Maintenance Supervisor with Regis, may see you;
- Maintaining plant, equipment, building and services.
- Ensure up-to-date records of all chemicals in use and compliance with appropriate safety best practice.
- Maintain the grounds in a neat and tidy manner with no obstacles.
- Identify preventative maintenance requirements, complete the works and documentation of schedules.
- Ensure preventative and corrective maintenance is actioned within legal requirements and are documented in the relevant registers
About you
As a collaborative compassionate member of the Operations team, ideally with experience within the health and/or Aged Care sector, you’ll have:
- Experience in supervision or coordination of maintenance programs.
- General hands-on maintenance or handyman skills.
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
