The Opportunity
The Newstead Residences is a luxury retirement living community located in the heart of Newstead. Spanning across 19-storeys, The Newstead Residences blends modern, retirement village living with inner-city convenience in one vibrant destination. In this newly created position, we have an opportunity for a Domestic Attendant Supervisor to join our team to oversee the daily cleaning operations of the common areas throughout the building. You will work closely with staff and residents to ensure all areas of the building are clean and safe for all to enjoy. This is a hands-on role that will suit an experienced cleaner, particularly from the hotel/tourism industry, who has a passion for customer service and impeccable standards.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday-Friday 8-4pm

You will
- Take ownership of the cleaning standards throughout the entire village and respond to resident enquiries
- Deliver high-quality cleaning services throughout common areas including floors, bathrooms, kitchens and hallways
- Deliver thorough service to residents and fellow staff members by attending to resident requests and community emergencies
- Enjoy building relationships and being a friendly face to residents
- Provide assistance to the residents and community with general ad-hoc tasks
- Follow all OH&S standards and report any safety & security incidents
What you will bring
- Unrestricted working rights within Australia
- Previous experience in cleaning positions, particularly in hotel/tourism environments (highly desired)
- A high level of presentation standards and friendly customer service
- Current Police Check clearance (required, but we can complete for you!)
- Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up-to-date (required)
