Karora Resources is a Canadian owned, multi-asset gold producer with operations across the Goldfields region of Western Australia. Our producing mining operations of Beta Hunt and Higginsville are supported by two processing facilities, one on site at Higginsville and our Lakewood plant located in Kalgoorlie, providing a combined processing capacity of 2.6Mtpa.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise the scheduling, planning, servicing, and maintenance of company assets, including the underground mobile equipment and other surface ancillary equipment
- Offer practical advice, direction and feedback to the Maintenance crews and support staff, ensuring efficient running of the team and good communication with other departments
- Be visible and provide mentoring and leadership to your teams
- Work collaboratively with your team to develop and maintain efficient and productive maintenance processes across site
- Actively promote a high level of safety awareness, lead from the front and by example
ABOUT YOU
- Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s licence
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Ability to hold a statutory appointment or have a current one
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role effectively leading and supervising a large mobile Maintenance team in an Underground Mining environment
- Have a comprehensive understanding of maintenance practices and procedures, with the ability to enforce them, as well as a sound knowledge of equipment safety legislation
- Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desirable)
- Proficient Microsoft office skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Solid communication skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative, and successful working relationships with your team
- Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
