The Role
We are actively seeking a dynamic and collaborative Workshop Manager to oversee the planning, management, and delivery of operational services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and effective decision-making abilities. They will possess the capability to articulate and communicate concepts, information, and advice proficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute workshop activities to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of services.
- Manage workshop personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise workshop processes and enhance productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and procurement of materials and supplies necessary for workshop operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all workshop activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to workshop operations and activities.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in workshop management or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and other relevant software.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and attention to detail.
