As we expand our operations in the Southwest region, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee periodic maintenance inspections and ensure compliance with Building Codes and Australian Standards.
Role Overview: As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our Customer Journey and maintaining a positive experience with our clients' properties across the Southwest region. Reporting directly to the Regional Construction Managers, you will be responsible for conducting thorough maintenance inspections within specified timeframes, identifying defects, and coordinating with trades to ensure timely repairs. This role offers autonomy and as such requires a strong background in trades, construction methodology, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct periodic maintenance inspections in accordance with Building Codes and Australian Standards.
- Liaise with trades and contractors to rectify defects identified during inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspection reports.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the Client Liaison team.
- Collaborate with internal departments to optimize maintenance processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Trade qualification or equivalent experience in building and construction.
- Proven experience within the construction industry.
- Deep understanding of construction methodology, building codes, and Australian Standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated region.
