Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to lead a team of over 20 members, ensuring that our high standards of cleanliness are consistently met. You will play a vital role in overseeing daily cleaning operations, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring client satisfaction. If you have a strong background in cleaning supervision, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive attitude, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Your job will be to use your past experience to:
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness for all tasks assigned, including managing equipment and supplies for both your team and yourself.
- Supervise a team within the company, guiding them in daily tasks, addressing issues, delegating work, executing plans, and often performing the same duties as your team members.
- Manage communication between your team members and clients when required.
- Notify management of cleaning and maintenance deficiencies within your work area.
- Understand and enforce company OHS Standards, Policies, and Procedures.
- Hold knowledge on all chemicals and equipment used by Kestrel and how to utilize them appropriately.
- Assist and cover for our Operations Supervisor when required.
- Assist in the quotation of new jobs and relay information to sales/management when required.
- Manage key collection and returns when required.
Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in a cleaning supervision role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with various cleaning processes, chemicals, and equipment.
- Ability to work well with a team and support their tasks.
