Core Responsibilities
- Assisting the Maintenance & Building Manager
- Working with on-site maintenance staff at the properties
- Develop, implement and supervise a Preventative Maintenance Program, including but not limited to Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Fire Equipment, Electrical Equipment, Kitchen Equipment & Pest Control
- Assist in co-ordinating external trades as required for general repairs and planned jobs
- Attending properties to ensure adherence to maintenance schedules and planning for future requirements
- Support the Hurley Hotel Group Gardener with his schedule and requirements
- Liaise with the Accommodation team for room maintenance and communicating when rooms will be back available for sale
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in a hospitality environment is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- A strong attention to quality and detail
- Sound computer skills including any specific building related systems
